Spring Registration is Almost Closed
Fort Washington Little League, Inc. Baseball/Softball Registration for girls and boys 4-18 years of age living within Camp Springs, Clinton, Forestville, Fort Washington, Morningside, Oxon Hill, Suitland, Temple Hills and Andrews Air Force Base.
There are a few spaces available. If you are interested send an email and you will be contacted in the order received where space is available.
New players must provide a copy of their birth certificate and all must show proof of residency.
A Uniform Hold Check is required as well. It is to be dated July 31, 2009 and is held until the provided the uniform has been returned when requested and the uniform is in a state of what FWLL has determined as normal wear and tear.

All interested staff persons are required to complete and submit a background check form. Once appointed, all staff members (managers, coaches, team parents, etc.) are required to successfully complete the League's Safety Orientation and Training programs as designated by the Board of Directors.
All staff persons are expected to promote a positive atmosphere in the instruction of and participation in the Little League Baseball program in accordance with the policies and guidelines of Little League Baseball, Inc. and FWLL both on the field and off the field.

Parental Support ... involvement is not an "invitation"; it's an obligation that we, as parents, have to the youth in our community.
If you see something that you feel needs to be done, by all means, volunteer to help make it happen. Contact one of the board members to find out how you can help. It is essential as a non-profit organization to use all of its resources and as parents to the children participating, you represent our greatest resource.
